Executive director of the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) Fahmida Khatun on Saturday said the high tariff policy of the US is a ‘wakeup’ call for Bangladesh since the country would not get more duty facility beyond LDC graduation.
‘So, it’s necessary for us to take preparations for enhancing our trade capacity. The suspension of reciprocal tariff for 90 days is a matter of bit comfort for Bangladesh,’ she said.
