Liton Das, Rishad Hossain, and Nahid Rana have been granted No Objection Certificates to participate in the forthcoming Pakistan Super League for various time periods by the Bangladesh Cricket Board.
Liton and Rishad will be available for the full season of the franchise-based league, while Nahid will stay in Bangladesh until the completion of the first Test against Zimbabwe, which starts on April 20.
The in-charge of Cricket Operations of the BCB, Shahriar Nafees, confirmed the development to 抖阴精品 on Thursday.
Nahid was picked by 2017 winners Peshawar Zalmi in the draft that was held in January.
Liton was roped in by Karachi Kings, while Rishad was picked by two-time PSL champions Lahore Qalandars.
However, because the PSL, which begins on April 11, coincides with the Zimbabwe Test series, it was unclear whether the trio would get the nod from the BCB.
Earlier, the PSL held an online replacement draft for the players who would not be available.
Though Nahid and Liton were on that list initially, the respective franchises reserved their spots.
Getting the NOC means that Liton, who was dropped from the Bangladesh squad of the Champions Trophy, certainly won鈥檛 take part in the Zimbabwe series.
Liton previously played in the Indian Premier League, Caribbean Premier League, and Lanka Premier League.
It was learnt that Nahid was given the partial NOC due to his workload management. Earlier, national team captain Najmul Hossain Shanto urged that the likes of Nahid should play in the franchise-based cricket leagues more. He has never played in any such league before.
Meanwhile, it will also be the first franchise-based tournament for the young leg-spinner Rishad outside Bangladesh.
He was previously picked to play in the league in Canada and Australia but was unable to take part due to various reasons.
