Ahsan Khan Chowdhury has been elected chairman of Midland Bank PLC, said a press release.
This decision was made in the 165th board meeting of the bank held on March 20.
He is one a sponsor director, an executive committee member and risk management committee chairman of the bank.
He is also the chairman and chief executive officer of PRAN-RFL Group.
He studied at Wartburg College in the USA and joined the PRAN-RFL Group in 1992 as a director.
