A motorcyclist was killed after he was hit by a Ramzan Paribahan bus in the capital鈥檚 Rampura area on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Ali Hossain, 32.
Confirming the matter, Rampura police station officer-in-charge Ataur Rahman said that the incident occurred near Better Life Hospital in Rampura at about 4:30pm on Thursday.
He said that the police seized the bus and detained its driver.
A group of agitated people tried to set the bus on fire soon after the incident, he said, adding that the traffic movement on the road was normal as of 5:30pm.
Earlier, 15-year-old Sajid Hossain was killed after he was hit by a Ramzan Paribahan Bus at Rampura Bazar under the Hatirjheel police station on January 25.
