A collection of poems titled ‘Osimer Vela’ was launched at Bishwo Shahitto Kendro in Dhaka on Wednesday.
Published by Baatighar, the third edition of Osimer Vela, Bishwo Shahitto Kendro founder Abdullah Abu Sayeed, comprises Bangla poems from Charyapada to the 1960s.
Poet Sajjad Sharif, writer-researcher Kudrat E Khuda and Aslam Ahsan spoke at the event while Tropa Majumdar and Rashed Hasan recited poems from the book.
Besides, Abdullah Abu Sayeed spoke at the programme.
