A youth died of electrocution at Mirerhat of Hathazari in Chattogram on Wednesday.
The deceased, Md Morshedul Alam, 24, was son of Mahabul Alam of the area.
The police said that Morshedul came in contact with a live electric wire when he was working at a building.
He was taken to upazila health complex, where the attending doctor declared him dead.
