The police recovered three crude bombs abandoned on a street near Ananda Cinema Hall at Farmgate in Dhaka on Saturday.
Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police station officer-in-charge Golam Azam said that after the police had received information about the bomb-like objects inside a bag, they immediately arrived at the scene.
鈥楧haka Metropolitan Police鈥檚 bomb disposal unit arrived at the scene and recovered the bombs wrapped in black tape in a black bag,鈥� the OC added.
The cocktails were taken to the old trade fair grounds at Agargaon and were disposed at about 1:15pm, said a press release issued by the DMP.
Taking legal action regarding the incident was under process, added the press release.
