A chase and counter chase between students of Dhaka University and students of DU affiliated seven colleges took place on Sunday night on the Dhaka University campus.
The chase and counter chase took place at about 11:30pm on the day as students of DU affiliated seven colleges tried to enter the DU campus through Nilkhet area.
Huge number of law enforcers, including the police and the Border Guard Bangladesh, were deployed in the area.
BGB, in a press release, on early Monday said that they had deployed four platoons troops in the area to maintain the law and order situation in the area.
抖阴精品 correspondent in DU reported that the chase and counter chase continued on the campus and outside the campus till filing the report at about 12:15am.
Hasnat Abdullah, convenor of the anti-discrimination student movement, went to the spot and urged the students to calm down.
