Major general (retired) Anup Kumar Chakma has been appointed as the chairman of the Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board.
A notification in this regard was issued by ministry of public administration on Monday.
The appointment would take effect from the date of his joining, as mentioned in the notification.
Meanwhile, OSD additional secretary Shah Abdul Alim Khan has been posted to the ministry of food. He was previously set to be transferred as additional secretary of the Technical and Madrassah Education division.
