National Bank has received the ‘Top Ten Bank Award’ from the Center for NRB in recognition of its outstanding contribution to remittance collection in 2024.
The award was presented in the inaugural ceremony of the year-long ‘World Conference Series 2025’, themed ‘Branding Bangladesh’, held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon in Dhaka on Saturday.
Foreign affairs adviser Md Touhid Hossain and Bangladesh Bank governor Ahsan H Mansur handed over the award.
Sheikh Akhter Uddin Ahmed, managing director (current charge) and Milton Roy, head of the Foreign Remittance Division, received the award on behalf of the bank.
MS Shekil Chowdhury, chairperson of the Center for NRB, along with other distinguished local and international guests, attended the event.
