NCC Bank received ‘Top Ten Remittance Award’ from the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment in recognition of their performance in facilitating remittance collection during the 2023-24 financial year recently, said a press release.Â
NCC Bank deputy managing director Md Mahbub Alam received the award from Asif Nazrul, adviser to the law, justice and parliamentary affairs and expatriates’ welfare and overseas employment ministries.
Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain, adviser to the youth and sports and local government, rural development and co-operatives ministries, was also present at the award giving ceremony held on International Migrants Day and National Expatriates Day at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka.
Among others, NCC Bank SVP and treasury front office head Md Zahurul Karim Chowdhury and SAVP and remittance and NRB services department head Md Foraduzzaman were present on the occasion.
