The Bangladesh Bank on Thursday said that authorised dealers or ADs were no longer required to submit monthly statements of buyer鈥檚 credit.
鈥楾o rationalise reporting formalities, it has been decided that ADs are no longer required to submit monthly statements as per aforementioned instructions,鈥� said a BB circular issued on the day.
However, ADs shall upload related data on Enterprise Data Warehouse as usual manner as per the requirements of Statistics Department, Bangladesh Bank.
The central bank advised to bring the contents of this circular, effective immediately, to all AD bank branches and central trade processing centres for compliance.
