The government on Sunday finalised a policy to allow officials of the Department of Narcotics to use arms.
Home ministry鈥檚 Security Services Division asked to take the next course of action for the policy, said a circular of the division issued on the day.
DNC deputy director Monzurul Islam told 抖阴精品 that they demanded the government allow the officials, from the rank of sub-inspector to deputy director, to use arms.
鈥榃e will take the next course of action, including training, budgets and purchasing arms. We have demanded using 9mm pistols,鈥� he added.
