A group art exhibition titled Gangaburi-2 which travels on boat to different ghats of the river Buriganga to celebrate the river and peoples who use it.
Curated by Shehzad Shahriar Chowdhury, the three-day exhibition comprises photographs, sculpture installations, site specific installation art and performance art to aware people to involve in a healthy and happy Buriganga by keeping the river clean and unoccupied.
The boat displayed artworks at Sowari Ghat, Zinzira ferry ghat, Thota Ghat, Madbor Bazar trawler ghat and Kholamora boat terminal of Buriganga River located in Old Dhaka and Keraniganj.
Organised by Brihatta Art Foundation under its river heritage project, the expansion of Gangaburi edition is participated by artist Bilas Mandal, Dinar Sultana Putul, Mojahid Musa, Elodie Guignard, Moinuddin Moni, Rupakalpa Chowdhury, Mohammad Hanif Pappu, Syed Ahmed, Farah Naz Moon, Joydeb Roaja and Yasmin Jahan Nupur.
The exhibition was inaugurated on Friday, and will conclude on Sunday.
