A fire has broken out in a dyeing factory in Dhaka鈥檚 Shyampur area, said a fire service official on Wednesday morning.
Rakibul Hasan, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters, the fire erupted around 7:44am in the factory located in the Shyampur area.
Being informed, three firefighting units rushed to the spot and they were trying to tame the flame, he said.
The fire was yet to come under control as of filing this report at about 8:50am.
The reason behind the fire couldn鈥檛 be known immediately, he added.
