Bangladesh women鈥檚 team will tour England and Australia for the first time for bilateral series as the ICC on Monday announced the Future Tour Programme (FTP) for the cycle of 2025-2029, which outlined the fixtures for the fourth edition of the ICC Women鈥檚 Championship.聽
The Women鈥檚 Championship will see all 11 teams competing against eight other teams, like in the ongoing edition, four series at home and four away.聽
Bangladesh women will tour England (September 2027), India (December 2025), Australia (October 2026), and Pakistan (November 2028).聽
Bangladesh have never played in a bilateral series against England before.聽
They will also host South Africa (April 2028), the West Indies (May 2027), newcomers Zimbabwe (November 2027), and Sri Lanka (April 2026) under the Championship.聽
Apart from that, they will play bilateral series against New Zealand in the upcoming FTP in both home and away.聽
This FTP sees an ICC event each year with the inaugural six-team Champions Trophy scheduled for 2027.
The other ICC events during the period are the ICC Women鈥檚 Cricket World Cup in 2025 (India), the ICC Women鈥檚 T20 World Cup in 2026 (the United Kingdom), and the ICC Women鈥檚 T20 World Cup in 2028 (hosts yet to be announced).
No Tests are scheduled for Bangladesh in the new FTP, though they鈥檝e got the status earlier. They鈥檝e never played in this format.聽
