
Politicians and youth leaders on Friday at a roundtable in Dhaka called on the political parties to form a national unity to give the interim government time for implementation of sprits of the recent students and people movement.
Chaired by president of the organisation SM Samsul Alam Nixon, the youth front of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal-JSD organised the discussion titled Reforms of Ruling System, Bicameral Parliament and Provincial Government at the National Press Club.
Senior vice-president of the JSD, Tania Rab, called on all political parties to form a national unity for implementation of sprits of the movements.
She also said that after the fall of the deposed Sheikh Hasina government, the interim government was formed, hoping, ‘The interim government will hold a credible general elections within a justified time holding some required reforms.’
Tania Rab also mentioned that they wanted the formation of bicameral parliament and provincial government across the country for decentralisation of governing system.Â
General secretary of the organisation Pataka Shafique, youth leaders Babar Chowdhury, among others, participated in the discussion.
