Marking the 65th anniversary of Alliance Fran莽aise de Dhaka, a three-day film festival concluded on Tuesday at the AFD auditorium.
The 鈥楢rt Film Festival鈥� showcased six films, followed by post-film discussions.
The festival featured the works of renowned French filmmaker Fran莽ois L茅vy-Kuentz, known for his monographs on artists like Chagall, Pascin, Calder, Mondrian, Dal铆, and Bu帽uel. His films, which have received international acclaim, explore modern and contemporary art, blending historical narratives with artistic expression.
On the closing day, two documentary films鈥擫a R茅volution Bleue and Dans l鈥檃telier de Mondrian鈥攚ere screened, followed by a post-film discussion with L茅vy-Kuentz, moderated by art critic Moinuddin Khaled.
The festival opened with screenings of Salvador Dali, g茅nie tragi-comique and Chagall, A la Russie, aux 芒nes et aux autres.
On Monday, the second day of the festival, Nicolas de Sta毛l, la peinture 脿 vif and La Face Cach茅e de l鈥檃rt Am茅ricain were screened. 聽
