
Left political leaders on Wednesday at a commemoration meeting in Dhaka said that former general secretary of Communist Party of Bangladesh Mohammad Farhad worked for establishing an exploitation-free society.
The CPB organised the meeting at its central office to mark the 37th anniversary of death of Mohammad Farhad where party’s president Mohammad Shah Alam chaired.
Shah Alam said, ‘In our country an exploitation-free society is yet to be established.’
After victory of the recent anti-discrimination students and people movement, there is a possibility that an exploitation-free society will be established in the country.
General secretary of the party Ruhin Hossain Prince said that the spirit of the anti-discrimination student movement must be realised to establish an exploitation-free country.
Central leaders of the party Mihir Ghosh, Mahbubul Alam, Sazzad Zahir Chandian and others spoke at the commemoration meeting.
Earlier, a central team of the party leaders placed wreath on the grave of Mohammad Farhad.
