
The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh and Grameenphone signed a Memorandum of Understanding on October 1 on the ULAB campus in the presence of Professor Imran Rahman, Vice Chancellor of ULAB, said a press release.
The MoU was signed by Professor Jude William Genilo, pro-vice-chancellor of ULAB, and Sayeda Tahya Hossain, chief human resources officer of Grameenphone.
Jennifer Hossain, consultant & former director in charge, career services office at ULAB, and Ashfaque Hossain, employer brand expert at Grameenphone, were also present at the signing.
The Grameenphone delegation also included Rifaqat Rasheed, head of talent management and governance; Sharina Tofazzal Pinky, head of strategic HR partner – commercial; and ULAB was represented by Lt Col, retd, Md Foyzul Islam, registrar; and Asif Uddin Ahmed, assistant professor and director, graduate business programme.
This partnership aims at fostering joint research, faculty and student exchanges, and capacity-building initiatives through training and corporate engagement programs. It will enhance the educational experience at ULAB while creating opportunities for graduates to develop essential professional skills through Grameenphone’s expertise.
