Union Capital Limited held its 26th annual general meeting in a hybrid manner at Gulshan Shooting Club, Gulshan-1 in Dhaka on Monday, said a press release.
Munshi Shafiul Haque, chairman and independent director of Union Capital, presided over the meeting.
Among, directors Waqar A Choudhury, Nadeem A Chaudhury, independent director nominated by the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission Qazi Moinuddin Mahmud, managing director and chief executive officer (current charge) ANM Golam Shabbir, company secretary (current charge) Md Abdul Hannan, auditor鈥檚 representative Asifur Rahman and Scrutinising Institute Suraiya Parveen and Associates representative AKM Mushfiqur Rahman were present. Director Tajrina Sikder also participated in the AGM virtually.
According to the release, shareholders present in the AGM said that the meeting expressed their opinion that they have full confidence and support in the steps taken by the current board of directors and the management in transitioning the company from its current status.
