
The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh chairman air-vice-marshall Md Monjur Kabir Bhuiya on Monday paid a courtesy call on the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism secretary Nasreen Jahan at the ministry in Dhaka.
The CAAB chairman informed the secretary of the ministry about various ongoing activities and developmental projects of the CAAB, including, the construction activities of the 3rd terminal, manpower, airport security and improvement of the overall service quality of the airport, at the meeting.
Besides, he also informed the ministry secretary about the successful implementation of the ‘Silent Zone’ programme announced at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and nearby places from October 1, and the activities taken to stop the use of single use plastic.
Meanwhile, Nasreen Jahan expressed her satisfaction with the overall activities of the CAAB, and assured full cooperation to complete the ongoing projects at a fast pace, said the press release.
