Md Maniruzzaman Molla has been elected as new chairman of the board of trustees of the Eastern University.
The board meeting was held on Saturday, said a press release on Sunday. A business entrepreneurs and philanthropist, Maniruzzaman Molla has been contributing to economic development, employment opportunities and expansion in the education sector.聽
He plays a significant role as a director of Union Label and Accessories Limited, Union Electronics Industries Limited, Glossy Design and Trust Islami Life Insurance Limited.
He is the current vice-president of the Bangladesh Garments Accessories and Packaging Manufacturers and Exporters Association.
The members of the Eastern University Foundation and the board of trustees warmly congratulated Maniruzzaman Molla and expressed their full support to the new chairman. He also thanked all BOT members and sought their full cooperation, said the press release.
