Chief of army staff general Waker-Uz-Zaman on Sunday paid a courtesy call on chief adviser to the interim government professor Muhammad Yunus at his office in Dhaka.
鈥楧uring the meeting, the chief adviser was apprised by the army chief of the existing overall security situation across the country . . . and the activities undertaken by the armed forces division,鈥� said a press release, issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations.
During the meeting, professor Yunus gave necessary instructions to the army chief about the current situation and also expressed his thanks to Waker-Uz-Zaman for paying the courtesy call, the release added.
