
One more person hit by bullets during the student-led mass uprising died while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Friday.
The victim is Nayan Miah, 25, a resident of the Kathalbagan area in Dhaka.
Nayan hailed from Lalmonirhat.
The DMCH police outpost in-charge Muhammad Faruk confirmed the news.
Nayan鈥檚 father-in-law Ershad Ali said that Nayan was a motorbike mechanic at a garage in the Kathalbagan area.
He was hit by bullets on August 4 in the Kathalbagan area during the student-led mass uprising.
He was admitted to the DMCH and died while undergoing treatment in the hospital鈥檚 intensive care unit in the morning, said Ershad.
The student-led mass uprising forced Hasina to resign on August 5 and flee to India.
