Community Bank Bangladesh PLC contributed Tk 30 lakh to Bangladesh interim government chief advisor鈥檚 relief and welfare fund on Tuesday in a bid to stand by the flood-affected people under its corporate social responsibility programme, says a press release.
Faruk-e-Azam, Bir Pratik, adviser to the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief received a pay order of Tk 30 lakh from Hasnat Khan Rezvi, member of the sustainable finance unit of Community Bank and Dedarul Karim of the bank鈥檚 marketing department. Disaster management and relief secretary Md Kamrul Hasan, ndc, was also present.
It is worth mentioning here that, in addition to this, the employees of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC already contributed their one day鈥檚 salary to the chief adviser鈥檚 relief and welfare fund.
