The Universal College Bangladesh has initiated the UCB International Foundation Year Programme for local students to ready themselves perfectly for top-notch higher education, said a press release on Thursday.
The one-year pre-university qualification degree is structured to provide SSC/O Level /A Level/HSC students a commendable entry route to the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, or Ireland.
The orientation session for this year鈥檚 UIFY was held on August 25, with admissions windows still open till September 5, 2024.
During the orientation, the UIFY coordinator Abhishek Chakrabarty provided the 20 attendee students and their guardians with a detailed overview of the programme.
Professor Muhammad Ismail Hossain, dean of academic affairs of the UCB, and Professor Hew Gill, president and provost of the UCB, were present at the sessions.
Hew Gill said that they were delighted to launch the UIFY, and believed that they could help as a platform for our promising youth to find themselves a place in prestigious universities.
