鈥榃e, Denmark and the European Union, welcome the appointment of an interim government headed by Nobel Prize winner Muhammad Yunus,鈥 said Denmark鈥檚 Development Cooperation and Global Climate Policy minister Dan J酶rgensen in a statement, according to Danish Embassy in Dhaka on Wednesday.
The statement said the focus of the Bangladesh鈥檚 interim government should be on good governance, respect for human rights and democracy, including impartial investigations into the many tragic deaths during the protests.
