MA Baqui Khalily has been re-elected chairman of Bank Asia PLC鈥檚 risk management committee during the bank鈥檚 board meeting held recently, said a press release.
He is an independent director of the bank.
MA Baqui Khalily completed his BCom (honours) and MCom in finance from the University of Dhaka. Afterwards, he joined as a faculty member at the university鈥檚 Department of Finance in 1975.聽 He also obtained his MSc and PhD degrees with major in finance and development in 1987 and 1991 respectively from Ohio State University, USA.
