The Green University of Bangladesh on Tuesday at its campus celebrated the achievement of permanent certificate provided by the Ministry of Education as part of the establishment and management of the university.

Vice-chancellor of the university Professor Mohammad Shorif Uddin, pro-VC Professor Khawza Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed, treasurer Professor Md Fayzur Rahman, former VC Professor Golam Samdani Fakir, among others, were present at the celebration, said a press release.


The Green University has got permanent certificate after ensuring all facilities related to education, including quality education, beautiful green campus, international standard playground, said Mohammad Shorif Uddin, adding that

‘This permanent certificate is a product of the quality graduates we are producing. Through this, we have attained perfection,’ he added, calling on all concerned, including the teachers and staff to continue the collective efforts in the overall progress of the university.

Khwaja Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed said that permanent certificate would help the GUB to move forward in the future.

The education ministry on Monday informed the university authorities about the certification through a letter, said the press release.

According to the opinion of the University Grants Commission and in accordance with Section 10 of the Private University Act-2010, the ministry has given the certificate to the Green University of Bangladesh.
