State minister for posts, telecommunications and information technology Junaid Ahmed Palak on Sunday said that according to the tests conducted by the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission in various locations of the country, the quality of telecommunication services did not meet promised standards.

He said that call drops had become a regular phenomenon, and the telecommunication service users were not satisfied with the services that the operators were providing.
