Speakers at a discussion on Friday emphasised the need for collective action to protect the environment and address challenges such as heatwaves, cyclones, and floods.

The event, organised by Bihangya at the Dhaka University to mark World Environment Day, highlighted concerns over environmentally damaging projects that jeopardize the well-being of future generations, according to a press release.


Awards were also presented to the winners of a quiz competition at the event.

Child specialist Sushanta Barua, Bihangya advisor Saiedul Hoq Nishan, and members Syed Enzam Ul Huda and Skya Islam spoke at the event, which was conducted by Amit Hasan Bhuiyan, Bihangya鈥檚 Dhaka unit organiser.
