Leaders and activists of different political parties and organisations called on the international community to be vocal against Israeli aggression on Gaza on Saturday.

They made the remark while participating in protest rallies held in Dhaka and across the country.


Left Democratic Alliance, a combine of six political parties, held a rally at Purana Paltan crossing in Dhaka chaired by its coordinator and general secretary of Communist Party of Bangladesh Ruhin Hossain Prince.

Leaders of the combine Bazlur Rashid Firoz, Abdus Satter and others spoke at the rally.

The rally was followed by a protest procession that paraded different city roads.

Bangladesh Peace Council also held a rally in front of the National Press Club in Dhaka chaired by its president Mujaffer Hossain Paltu.
