Today is the third anniversary of the death of poet Habibullah Siraji.
Born on December 31, 1948, Habibullah Siraji developed a sustained practice over the years as a poet.
His literary works include Kabiraj Building-er Chhad, Dao Briksha Dao Din, Momshilper Khaykshati, Haoa Kole Jora Gari, Swapnahinatar Pakshe, Premer Kabita, Nirbachita Kabita and Kabitasamagra.
For his contribution to literature, the poet received Ekushey Padak in 2016.
Habibullah Siraji passed away on May 24 in 2021.
