The leaders of Bangladesh Juba Maitri and Bangladesh Chhatra Maitri on Saturday at a protest rally in Dhaka called on the international community to be vocal against Israel鈥檚 aggression in Gaza.
Bangladesh Juba Maitri and Bangladesh Chhatra Maitri jointly organised the rally in front of the Bangladesh National Museum at Shahbagh in the capital protesting against Israeli attacks on Gaza.
Juba Maitri president Touhidur Rahman said that Israeli armed forces killed thousands of Palestinians in the past several months.
The imperialist American government was patronising the Israeli government to carry out the attacks ignoring the global opinion, Touhidur added.
Chhatra Maitri general secretary Atulan Das Tanu called on the international community to be vocal against the Israeli attacks on Gaza.
Juba Maitri general secretary Tapas Das, central leader Tanvin Ahmed, student leader Muktar Hossain and others spoke at the rally.
The rally was followed by a protest procession that paraded different roads on Dhaka University campus.
