
Electronics brand Walton, PRAN-RFL Group and Shwapno won accolades at Superbrands Bangladesh 2025-26 at Le Méridien in the capital on Saturday, said the companies’ press releases.
Walton achieved ‘Superbrands Award’ for 2025-2026. Walton has been conferred with the award by London-based Superbrands Worldwide in the electronics and home appliances category for the third consecutive times. Earlier, Walton received the prestigious award for the years of 2020-21 and 2023-24.
Walton Hi-Tech PLC managing director SM Mahbubul Alam received the award.
On behalf of conglomerate PRAN-RFL Group, PRAN senior general manager Ali Hasan, general manager Toshan Paul, RFL marketing heads Debashish Sarkar, Shariful Islam, Shafik Shahin and digital head SM Rashed Rayhan received the Superbrands Bangladesh Award.
Shwapno consumer insights head Moin Uddin Ahmed, product manager Md Aquib Rashid, marketing analytics manager Tanjil Avi and junior executive — marketing Zarin Tasnim received the Superbrands Bangladesh Award in superstore category.
The award has been given in recognition of the company’s consistent brand leadership, business excellence and the trust it has earned from consumers.
This marks the fourth time Shwapno has been recognized as a Superbrand (2025–2026) in Bangladesh. The company has also held the title of Best Brand in the Superstore Sector for nine consecutive years, according to a Shwapno press release.
Also present at the ceremony were Bushra Zerin, Advisor, assortment and in-store experience branding, Nusrat Jahan, head of trade market research, Md Kamruzzaman (Milu), media and PR manager, and Md Obaidul Islam (Loban), sound engineer.
Superbrands is the world’s largest independent arbiter of branding, recognising brands that have established consumer trust, reliability, and distinct identity. Since its inception in the United Kingdom in 1994, over 45,000 brands across 90 countries have been honoured with this prestigious recognition.
