Repertory theatre troupe Agontuk staged two shows of its third production titled ‘Ek Guchchha Galpa’ at the Nilima Ibrahim Auditorium of Bangladesh Mahila Samity on Bailey Road in the capital on Saturday.

Ek Guchchha Galpa, comprises six short plays written by Tahnina Islam and directed by three directors, namely Azad Abul Kalam, Pantha Shahriar and Tropa Majumdar.


The plays are Somoy, Porichay, Shojbati, Lukochurui, Nirvor and Dhusor.

Two plays, namely Parichai and Lukochuri, have been directed by Tropa Majumdar while Pantha Shahriar directed two plays titled Samay and Dhushar. Azad Abul Kalam directed two plays titled Swajati and Nirbhar.

Ferdousi Mazumder, Jahangir Alam, Gulshan Ara Munni, Azad Abul Kalam, Aupee Karim, Ahmed Gias, Tahnina Islam, Tamnna Islam, Hendry Sen, Pantha Shahriar and Shatabdi Wadud played different characters in the production.

Besides, Hendry Sen designed the stage and lighting, Niloy Chowdhury designed the background music, Tahnina Islam and Gulshan Ara Munni designed the costume in the play.
