Leaders and activists of the Gono Odhikar Parishad at a rally in Dhaka on Friday called on the government to ensure punishment of attackers on its president Nurul Haque Nur.
The party held the rally at Badda, demanding punishments of the attackers.聽
Nur faced attacks and seriously injured by the law enforcers in Kakrail area on August 29, and still undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, they said.
Central leader of the party Abu Hanif said that law enforcers had so far failed to arrest the attackers.
鈥極ur party will continue holding rally until the attackers have been brought to book,鈥� Abu Hanif said.聽
