The police have arrested two union-level leaders of the banned Bangladesh Chhatra League in connection with an anti-terrorism case.
A police team from Madhabdi arrested them from Amdia and Meherpara unions on Thursday, OC of Madhabdi said.
The arrested are Saddam Hossain Onik, 27, vice-president of Amdia union Chhatra League, and Ferdous Hasan, 26, joint general secretary of Meherpara union Chhatra League.
The two have been shown arrested in an anti-terrorism case.
After legal formalities, they will be produced before the court, police said.
