Leaders of Jatiya Party on Saturday held a rally in Dhaka where they accused the interim government of introducing mob culture in the country instead of rule of law.

The JP organised the rally in front of its central office in Kakrail presided over by secretary general Shamim Haider Patwari demanding release of arrested party leaders and activists across the country.

Shamim Haider alleged that the interim government had introduced mob culture in the country and failed to introduce rule of law and implement the spirit of July uprising.

He also alleged that police had barred the JP leaders and activists from joining the rally.

JP presidium members Sherifa Quader, Mir Abdus Sabur, Saifuddin Ahmed Milon, Rezaul Islam Bhuiyan and others spoke at the rally.
