A group of Awami League activists torched and vandalised a police vehicle in Gopalganj Sadar upazila on Wednesday morning.
Several police members were injured in the attack, according to witnesses.
Asked about the incident, Gopalganj district superintendent of police Md Mizanur Rahman said that he did not want to talk to media in this regard.
A tense situation was prevailing over National Citizen Party鈥檚 rally in Gopalganj Sadar upazila.
