Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami secretary general Professor Mia Golam Parwar on Friday said that his party had to achieve desired result in the 13th parliament elections.
‘We are passing through a special time in the history . . . it is the expectation of all to get an environment for Islamic unity to hoist Islamic flag on this soil stained with bloods of martyrs,’ he said.
The Jamaat secretary general made the remarks while addressing as chief guest a special Rukan conference of the party’s Dhaka north city unit at Bangladesh–China Friendship International Conference Center.
Calling upon all the party members of Dhaka north city unit to make success the party’s national rally on July 19, he said that the rally was the turning point and all should play role for making it a massive success.
Around 10,000 male and female rukans participated in the BCFICC conference.
‘My prayer, my sacrifice, my life and my death are only for the Almighty Allah,’ he said, adding that everything should go as per the rules and principles of the Allah.
Central executive council member and Dhaka north city amir Mohammad Selim Uddin chaired the event while central council member and city unit secretary Rezaul Karim moderated the function.
Central council member and Dhaka north city unit Nayeb-e amir Abdur Rahman Musa, central Majlish-e Surah member and Dhaka city assistant secretary Mahfuzur Rahman, among others, attended the function.
