Today is the 21st founding anniversary of the Revolutionary Workers Party of Bangladesh, a partner of the Ganatantra Mancha.
The day will be observed centrally by the party with different programmes including placing wreaths at Central Shaheed Minar at 11:00am, commemorating martyrs and holding a short rally.
The general secretary of the party, Saiful Huq, will chair the rally.
The party was formed on June 14, 2004, splitting from the Workers Party of Bangladesh.
Saiful Huq in a press statement issued on Friday called on leaders and activists of the party to observe the day across the country and play their roles in the democratic transition of the country.
