The leftist parties brought out a procession and held a rally in Dhaka鈥檚 Purana Paltan area Tuesday afternoon for formation of the country鈥檚 interim government.
They demanded to hold discussion with all political parties in the country, urging all to protect people of the country and their assets as well as to resist the miscreants.
Coordinator of Bam Gonotantrik Jote and Basod general secretary Bazlur Rashid Firoz presided over the rally while Communist Party of Bangladesh general secretary Ruhin Hossain Prince, Bangladesh Jasod standing committee member Mustak Hossain and Bam Morcha leader Belal Chowdhury, among others, spoke at the meeting.
CPB president Shah Alam, Bangladesh Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal president Sharif Nurul Ambia, BASOD assistant general secretary Rajekuzzaman Raton, Biplobi Communist League general secretary Iqbal Karim Zahid, Ganatantrik Biplabi Party general secretary Mosrefa Meeshu and Samyabadi Andolon coordinator Suvransu Chakraborty, among others, were present.
