
Eight Bangladeshi artists are displaying their artworks in a six-day international art exhibition titled 6th Ulsan Asian Print Exchange Exhibition 2025.
The exhibition organized by Ulsan Printmaking Association is under way at Ulsan Culture and Arts Center, Ulsan, South Korea.
Dhaka University printmaking department professor artist Anisuzzaman Anis, lecturer Juton Chandra Roy and talented young artist Fakhrul Islam Mazumder Shakil attended the inauguration ceremony of the festival which was held on October 15.
Abdus Sattar, Syed Abul Barak Alvi, Ahmed Nazir Khokon, Sourav Chowdhury and Lutfa Mahmuda participated at the festival with their artworks of diverse techniques and styles.
The exhibition displayed 120 prints of 80 printmakers from Bangladesh, Thailand, Taiwan and seven provinces of South Korea.
A special corner was allocated where artwork was exhibited inspired by the Bangudae petroglyphs, the ancient rock engraving that depicted numerous aquatic and terrestrial animals as well as human figures and scenes of whaling and hunting.
