A six-day group art exhibition titled ‘Shashwata Ekadash’ by the students of the 20th batch of the department of fine arts department students of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology is under way at the Zainul Gallery, Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka.

The six-day exhibition will remain open from October 17 to 22, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily.


The exhibition was inaugurated on Friday afternoon by Professor Mohammad Azam, Director General of Bangla Academy, as the Chief Guest. Professor Dr. Azharul Islam Sheikh (Chanchal), Dean, Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka, graced the event as Special Guest.

Also present at the ceremony were Professor Mostafizul Haque, Chairman, Board of Trustees, SMUCT, and Honorary Professor, Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka.

The inaugural program was presided over by Professor Dr. Md. Shah-E-Alam, Vice-Chancellor, SMUCT. The welcome address was delivered by Associate Professor Md. Amanullah, Head of the Department of Fine Arts, Shanto-Mariam University. Among the distinguished guests were Professor Dr. Pradip Kumar Nandi, Dean, Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts, as well as artists, faculty members, and officials of the university.

The “Shashwata Ekadash” exhibition highlights the creativity and artistic excellence of eleven talented young artists, whose works reflect the depth of imagination and technical mastery achieved through their academic journey.
