
The Society for Promotion of Bangladesh Art organised an art camp titled SPBA Bhutan Art Camp 2025 under way at Bangladesh embassy in Thimphu, Bhutan.
Led by architect Rafiq Azam, eight Bangladeshi artists along with two Bhutanese artists participated in the camp inaugurated on July 8, said a press release.
The art camp aims to represent the artistic identity of Bangladesh by creating artworks which will be installed at the new building of Bangladesh embassy in Bhutan, designed by architect Rafiq Azam.聽
Bangladesh ambassador to Bhutan, Shib Nath Roy, visited the camp and expressed his appreciation for the cultural collaboration.
The art camp is featuring artists Kanak Chanpa Chakma, Azmeer Hossain, Shahid Qazi, Suman Wahed, Saikat Hussain, Farzana Rahman Bobby, Rupshree Hajong and Sourav Chowdhury, and Bhutanese artists Ugyen Tshering Doya and Kishor Dahal.
The art camp will end on Saturday.聽
