
An eight-day group art exhibition titled Interconnection featuring 19 artworks is under way at Artspace Bangladesh in Cox’s Bazar.
The exhibition, an outcome of a collaborative art camp hosted by Artspace Bangladesh volunteer Adnan Shahid at Shamlapur in Cox’s Bazar on June 8, has jointly been organised by Cox’s Bazar-based art organisation Artspace Bangladesh and Choto Studio along with Terracotta Creatives.
The exhibition is displaying artworks of 19 artists, including Tasnim Shahid, Rawjat Jahid Raha, Salsabil Jahed Sneha, Samaha Hamid Alisha, Mrinmoy Kamal and Priangshi Anondomoyee Rre.
Artists have portrayed diverse themes, including beautiful nature and daily life of seacoast people and spectacle of Bay of Bengal.
‘The exhibition has the potential to play a vital role in the art scenario of Cox’s Bazar, by introducing collaborative work between artists and the local community. The exhibition was well attended by people of different generations creating new art lovers,’ said director of Terracotta Creatives Mrittika Kamal.
Inaugurated on June 14, the exhibition will end on June 21.
