Inaugurated by Bangladesh high commissioner to Malaysia Md Shameem Ahsan on Friday, the MARA Technological University of Malaysia, Pink Jambu Artists Group of Malaysia and the National Sculpture Gallery International Artists Group from Bangladesh have jointly organised the exhibition.
Seventy-eight artists from nine countries, including Poland, India, France, Slovakia and Iran have participated in the exhibition.
Twenty-eight Bangladeshi artists, including Shyamal Sarker, Rubina Nargis, Zahed Robin, Sumon Chandra Das, Nayan Dey, SM Mizanur Rahman, Md Muniruzzaman and Tarana Halim, have participated in the exhibition.
‘The exhibition is collaboration between women-led artist group Pink Jambu and National Sculpture Gallery.  It addresses the theme of world peace and friendship through diverse cultural lenses and expressive forms,’ Md Imran Hossen said, adding that they chose pink as theme colour which linked with femininity, innocence and fantasy.Â
Coordinated by Bangladeshi artist Imrooz Shimu, the exhibition will end on May 30.
