
An international group exhibition titled ‘Where the Spirit Meets the Bone,’ will be open to all at Satori Academy of Arts in Banani of Dhaka from April 25 until May16.
Curated by Kehkasha Sabah, the exhibition is supported by the British Council through ‘Art Exchange: Moving Image’, a cross-cultural curatorial professional development and exhibition programme for early to mid-career visual arts curators from Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia, said a press release.
The first chapter of the exhibition, April 25 to May 7, will be inaugurated by eminent artists Dhali Al Mamoon and Dilara Begum Jolly, and Stephen Forbes, country director Bangladesh, British Council. It will feature work by seven Bangladeshi artists, and four international artists, including loans of art from the British Council collection, and features four art students from Bangladesh.
The second chapter, May 9 to 16, will present the outcomes of experimental workshops conducted by artist-educators Shohrab Jahan and Zihan Karim.
